The Amazing Story Of Adolphus Tips

In 1943 Lily Tregenza lives in the peaceful seaside village of Slapton, with her beloved cat Tips, her life is hardly touched by the war. Until one-day American soldiers start to arrive and before they know it her and all the other villagers have to move out of their homes, lock stock and barrel.

Lily and her family are devastated with the new unsettling proclamation but like the others among the village, they have no choice. Within a matter of time, the whole area is out of bounds and entry is prohibited so they can practice their attacks. But Lily's cat Tips has gone missing and she is desperate to find her. So she sets out to find Tips, beyond the barbed wire, to search the craters and bullet ridden buildings.
