Best Mate

One day when Patrick is walking along the canal he spies a parcel floating down it, suddenly he see's that it's moving, something is in it. So he jumps in to save it, He rescued a litter of greyhounds. Suddenly he's in a whirl of applause with his heroic act, but he can't bear the thought of handing them over to the RSPCA. So he pleads with his parents to get one. Next minute he's got a dog of his very own Best Mate and that's what he stays. But one day Best Mate is kidnapped by a greyhound racer and finds himself lost in a different world, how will he cope and what happens when he can't run anymore.
